Our platform offers an immersive, globally accessible educational experience. We're committed to closing the skills-gap in aviation maintenance.
Increasing Workforce Demand
Current, less engaging learning tools are leading to a decline in student interest, crucial for the industry's need for more technicians.
At AMTIL, we understand that the continual safety of our flying public rests in competent, enthusiastic and prepared maintenance technicians, and we vow to always be guided by that fact!
Co-founders
Josh's aviation career took off in Western Europe at CAE Global Aviation Academy, where he earned a frozen EASA Airline Transport Pilots Certificate. His initial flying career was short-lived, leading him to explore various fields, including nursing and personal fitness training, before returning to his true passion of aviation, in the form of aviation maintenance.
At Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, while pursuing his Associate’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance Science, Josh realized the urgent need to modernize maintenance training. This insight inspired him and a classmate to create the world’s first dedicated interactive virtual learning platform for aviation maintenance students.
Now, Josh is furthering his expertise by pursuing degrees in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. He also serves on the Technical Advisory Board at Western Suffolk BOCES' School of Aviation Maintenance Technology at Wilson Tech's Republic Airport. Josh also runs AvSpire Woodworks, an aviation-themed woodworking business in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A polyglot who has visited over 68 countries, Josh's diverse interests span playing guitar, flying, cooking, motorcycle riding, teaching, and of course, building model airplanes.
Jeremiah, with his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick and Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Leicester, UK (2011-2016), further honed his expertise by obtaining an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Maintenance and Airframe & Powerplant certificates from Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology. Distinguished on the President, Dean, and Faculty lists, he excelled as an exceptional student.
His professional journey includes pivotal roles at Endeavor Air, a Delta Airlines subsidiary, as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Structural Engineer, focusing on engineering orders and structural repairs. Jeremiah now plays a critical role in Delta Airlines's Rolls Royce engine program as a Senior Engineer in the Propulsion and Repair Department, based in Atlanta.
In his capacity as Chief Curriculum Officer at AMTIL, Jeremiah is instrumental in bridging the gap between education and engineering, leading the development of storyboards, 3D modeling, and lesson content for the AMTIL platform.
A skilled musician, Jeremiah enjoys the piano and violin, often immersing himself in jazz music on weekends, living by his mantra, “Music is life.”
