Welcome to Our Community!

Our Slack community is designed to foster interaction and support among students, instructors, and staff. This platform is a space for sharing knowledge, asking questions, and engaging in meaningful conversations. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a constructive and respectful environment for everyone.

1. Code of Conduct:

​

  • Respect for All: Treat all community members with respect. No disparaging comments related to gender, race, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, or other personal characteristics will be tolerated.

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions. Use language appropriate for a diverse audience.

  • Constructive Communication: Engage in constructive, polite discourse; avoid hostile or confrontational behavior.

  • Confidentiality: Respect everyone’s privacy. Do not share information meant to stay within the community without explicit permission.

  • No Spam: Refrain from posting spam, irrelevant messages, or excessive self-promotion.

2. Profile and Identification:

​

  • Profile Picture: Upon joining the channel, please upload a clear headshot as your profile picture. No vulgar images or obscenities are allowed.

  • Identification: Clearly indicate your affiliation—state the company you work for, the school you currently attend, or mention if you are an enthusiast.

3. Interacting with Staff and Members:

​

  • Designated Channels: Use the designated channels for various types of inquiries:

    • #general-questions – For general inquiries about our product and services.

    • #tech-support – For technical questions and support issues.

    • #feedback – To provide feedback or suggestions.

  • Clear Communication: When asking for help, provide clear, concise details to aid understanding and response efficiency.

  • Response Time: Expect responses within 24 hours. Staff will do their best to reply promptly, but please be patient. Understand that responses may not be immediate. While we aim to be as responsive as possible, delays can occur, especially outside of normal business hours.

4. Community Moderation:

​

  • Reserving Rights: We reserve the right to ban anyone from the community for not adhering to the code of conduct without prior notice.

  • Affiliation: Please note that this community is not affiliated with Slack in any official capacity. It is a user-created space for our company’s users and staff.

  • Reporting and Enforcement: Report any inappropriate or disrespectful behavior to the moderators via #mod-contact. Engaging with the offender is discouraged.

5. Legal and Ethical Use:

​

  • Compliance: Members are expected to use the community platform in compliance with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

  • Handling Issues: Moderators will intervene in less pleasant interactions, removing inappropriate posts and, if necessary, suspending or banning the offending member.
